It’s been a while since I gave an anime a score that was lower than a 7, and I actually had high hopes for Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate too… Though I did enjoy the beginning portion of the story, it was really hard to connect with the characters because of the lack of character development. But this was unavoidable since Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate is an anime adaptation of the Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate Visual Novel. Adaptations rarely ever live up to the VN’s (there’s only a few that actually do The Fate series being one of them). I really enjoyed the fun parts of the anime, especially when Yume would bust out the Yaoi jokes XD I laughed so hard I cried Lol. The darker parts I felt were too dark if that makes sense. The contrast between the two were two great and ultimately disrupted the flow of where the anime was going. The ending of course is rushed because this is a full length visual novel being smooshed into a 13 episode anime, there’s really not much you can squeeze in there. Overall I did like where the story was going to I think I’ll download the game and try to comprehend the story further once the english patch is done and released.
