Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan is your typical generic moe anime that’ll eventually get added on crunchy roll at some point. You have a tsundere, beauty with god-complex, and the shy little sister-type. I mean you really can’t get anymore generic. There were a lot of rough things about this anime, and it’s mostly in the execution, there were many things that were left unsolved, the fact that Kanata is able to use the power of the Devil Beetles, what exactly are the Devil Beetles, and the most important question…..HOW ARE THE CHARACTERS FLYING!?? At least tell us that sky wizards use spells to fly or maybe they use technology to fly, JUST ANYTHING. I really hate it when something isn’t explained, it’s just there. Story-wise, it was going somewhere, the fact that non-skywizards are forgot a skywizrd if the skywizrd themselves were to die, and I think that would be great for not only story development but also character development….but they talked about it once and then the subject just disappeared…..Oh and don’t get me started on the final episode, the last fight was as disappointing as going home to ready to crash on the couch but finding out that you just got evicted from your house. Yeah it was that bad, the only reason this got a 5/10 was because of two things, I got a good laugh out of some of the scenes (the crying ice cream man, and Yuri’s “I love you” cake XD) and the fact that Touyama Nao voiced Lecty. Kanata’s strength was so disappointing, that I kind of gave up on him after episode 5.
