When I started watching Punchline I honestly had absolutely no idea what to expect. What I got in the end was a complex and emotional story that drew me in before I even realized it.

The way Punchline started off was veeeeery confusing and I thought it was pointless, BUT the entire time I was confused, the story began to build itself and nothing really made sense until towards the end where everything connects and you just have to scream “HOLY SHIT”. And although our Protag-kun (Yuta) gains his super powers by looking at Panties, it’s not that type of anime, don’t be fooled! AND LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST THE ENDING! The last episode of Punchline left me absolutely speechless the OST and all the story and character development come together at the same time and everything just hits you hard. There’s really no other way to end Punchline, it was perfect.
