Heavy Object [10/10]

“In the future, warfare has been revolutionized by the invention of mechanical weapons called “Objects.” These Objects are overwhelmingly powerful, rendering traditional weapons like guns, tanks and fighter jets completely useless. Qwenthur is an un-athletic, but smart soldier who aims to work as an Object mechanic. Stationed at an Alaskan Object base, he meets Milinda, a stoic but beautiful Elite Soldier who pilots her own Object. As they learn to support each other in battle, Qwenthur begins to uncover the grim secret behind the Heavy Objects.” -Funimation
Heavy Object is one of those anime that just kinda hooks you from the start. The conversations between Havia and Qwenthur are the funniest things to listen to! Their missions mostly consist of them almost getting killed everytime, yet they also have a joke to crack before a giant exsplosion of sorts XD. Ecchi is also a key part in Heavy Object, because normal Ecchi is can be a downfall for a lot of anime where there is too much “fanservice” and not enough story. Heavy Object, however; handles the balance VERY well, the fanservice is actually more of a comedy relief and our main characters reactions to them are hysterical XD. Another thing that Heavy Object handles really well is the details that come up, the way the Objects work and their mechanics are described to the tiniest of detail and that helps the audience orientate themselves and have a better understanding of just how powerful and large these Objects are.
