Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry was a dark horse in the fall season for sure, I wasn’t expecting anything great when I first heard about it but then I watched the first episode and Ikki encoutered the cliche “walk in on a girl undress” scene and he just took it like a MAN. Not to mention our Heroine, Stella, is a tsundere but more dere than tsun you feel? It gives the story a different pace because she’s actually going for him and not doing little deeds and then saying “It’s not I did it for you or anything BAKA!!”. The set of characters in Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry is a pretty diverse and unique group. Each has their own reason for wanting to make it to the Seven Star Festival, (ESPECIALLY TODO TOKA BECAUSE HOT DAMMMMMMMNNNNNN). The fighting animation was EXCELLENT, the best example is in the very last fight in episode 12, the entire battle consisted of one single slash but their emotion,  thoughts, and whole beings were brought forth for this single powerful strike and you could feel it through the screen, the scene lasted for like 5 minutes but it felt like an hour, that powerful scene is what bumped the score from 7/10 to 9/10. Season 2 needs to be greenlit asap because I’m itching to see what happens at the Seven Star Festival.
