YES! SUNRISE HAS RETURNED WITH A NEW GUNDAM SERIES!! Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, takes on a different style than the previous shows in Gundam Franchise. The character designs are a little more rounded and the “cartoony”. Biscuit’s character design reminds me of Haruyuki (Accel World). Iron-Blooded Orphans has a much darker story than what the other Gundams. It deals with things like child soldiers, poverty, and betrayal. Through the story Tekkadan, the group that Orga leads, learn the ways of the battlefields, and the it’s pains: like losing a comrade in battle, the burden of leadership. But also what it really means to be a “family”. The last episode is full of heart stopping action and after the credits is announcement for a 2nd season! Hopefully Lafter returns :33333.
