Mayoiga [3/10]

A bus full of eccentric individuals is headed towards the urban legend known as Nanaki Village, a place where one can supposedly start over and live a perfect life. While many have different ideas of why the village cannot be found on any map, or why even the police cannot pinpoint its location, they each look forward to their new lives and just what awaits them once they reach their destination. -myanimelist.net
In the beginning Mayoiga was really eye-catching! The dark eerieness that came from the first episode was fantastic!! It had this “Corpse Party” sort of feel, and makes everything vey tense. Then we got deeper into the story and it’s a slippery slope from there. Many of the characters were just plain stupid and lack any common sense. The nanaki were a great way to represent psychological scars of the cast but most of them were just awful, like the silicon boob for instance (I know, weird right?). The plot is VERY SLOW, it doesn’t really get interesting until the about the last three episodes. And don’t me started with the OP and ED animation, it felt like Diomedia forgot they need them and just slapped some clips together and added music, no real thought in the OP and ESPECIALLY the ED. If you’re into characters making dumb decisions and not thinking about the consequences, plot holes, horrible animation, and stupid plot twists, then do I have an anime for you!
