Joker Game [7/10]

“Under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Yuuki, eight agents have been assigned to infiltrate and observe some of the most powerful countries, reporting on any developments associated with the war. In order to carry out these dangerous tasks, these men have trained their bodies to survive in extreme conditions and studied numerous fields such as communications and languages. However, their greatest strength lies in their ability to manipulate people in order to obtain the information necessary to give their nation the upper hand.” – myanimelist.net

If you like anime that jump back and forth in a timeline (Like the Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya or Baccano! or Durarara!) then you’ll like Joker Game because it does just that. Joker Game takes place in WW2 and follows Japanese spies, who are sent around the world on secret missions to gather information. It’s an interesting plot with even more interesting characters. Even though you’ll only get to experience each character for about two to three episodes. The episodes follow each spy and their secret mission, and sometimes a visit from the spymaster Colonel Yuuki. Joker Game is has a mystery feel but can get confusing if you don’t pay attention to who you’re following in the story. I recommend that beginners DO NOT start with Joker Game as it can lead to confusion.
