Bungou Stray Dogs [10/10]

“For weeks, Atsushi Nakajima’s orphanage has been plagued by a mystical tiger that only he seems to be aware of. Suspected to be behind the strange incidents, the 18-year-old is abruptly kicked out of the orphanage and left hungry, homeless, and wandering through the city. While starving on a riverbank, Atsushi saves a rather eccentric man named Osamu Dazai from drowning. Whimsical suicide enthusiast and supernatural detective, Dazai has been investigating the same tiger that has been terrorizing the boy. Together with Dazai’s partner Doppo Kunikida, they solve the mystery.” -myanimelist.net
Bungou Stray Dogs was phenomenal from the start to the finish! The story is fast-paced so the first episode hooks you in with it’s mystery, action, and comedy! The action and comedy combo is similar to Full Metal Alchemist or Black butler, so if you like those I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Bungou Stray Dogs. The characters are all lovable, but they’re also strong! Sometimes the gifted can all seem over-powering at times. However; If it’s gifted against gifted then it’s sure to have intense, on the edge of your seat, fighting animations! Character development is great especially in Atsushi. Throughout the story you can see how he grows more confident in himself and the growth in his trust in the Agency as well. Dazai also has some interesting character development, we see hints and clues that he was actually part of the Port Mafia before joining the Agency!? WHAT!? And of course the anime has to end when a new arc is about to begin. In episode 12 we are introduced to the Guild, the Agency’s new enemy, who are looking to take out the Agency one agent at a time. AND the anime ends with “to be continued” right before the credits SOOOOO I’m going to assume that season 2 is in fact confirmed! Now we just need to wait for a date!!!
