Love Live is back with a new group! Uranohoshi Girls’ High School is home to nine teens who is aiming to strive to the top! Right off the bat, I already like all of the characters. Their designs are really nice, their character type is also interesting (We have a chuuni!!!), and of course the songs are quite catchy. The plot seems a little more boring than the previous season, in that there’s no real objective. In the previous Season Honoka and the others become School Idols because that was their way of attracting more student and preventing the shut down of their school. In Love Live Sunshine Chika simply wants to shine even if she’s normal. I mean that reason is valid too but there’s no real urgency. But either way I think I’ll enjoy this one a lot just because of the characters and the songs!
