When I wrote my first impression I already thought that this season would be awful, but I didn’t expect it to be this atrocious! As I’ve said in the first impression the story seemed to progress as an unbelievable pace. It was difficult to follow the plot throughout most of the show. The artwork didn’t help, since the entire show focused on 3D animation for the Willwear suits and the fight scenes, it made the battles seem superficial. There are no buffer scenes for character development scenes, it was back-to-back action scenes that just made me tired of the show. The ending was rock bottom for me, with the capture of Bird and Kuroki being flung into space. Everything was resolved with little complications to the plan whatsoever. And don’t forget the new characters, oh wait what were they’re names again? I felt like Emilia and Marimo were just extra rather than part of the team, they added almost no value to the Unit. It would’ve been better if they focused on character development than add more characters that they can’t develop. Don’t be afraid to skip this one, it’s not worth it.
