Vivid Strike is about Fuka who after being abandoned by Rinne, her childhood friend, seeks a life outside of the orphanage that they lived at. Along the way she is asked to join a martial arts club where she may find the path that will lead her back to Rinne.
After just the first episode this seems like a really generic anime (something that would end up on CrunchyRoll or something). The artwork isn’t really that great, the character designs are going way too crazy with the different colored eyes, and hair color though. The character design does remind me of Dog Days. I don’t hate it just yet, I’m going to give it a few more episode before I lose all faith in it.
