The studio that is animating this is SHAFT, so why aren’t you watching it already?! We follow Rei’s daily life that seems like a total mess. Shogi seems to be the main topic, with the addition of Rei’s complicated family situation. The animation is beautiful (as expected from SHAFT), as well as the story telling. 3-gatsu no Lion has this really dark vibe going on somewhere in the background and it’s going to creep up at some point. Almost reminds you of Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, in a way. Maybe it’s the dark hair and glasses LOL. Either way I think this is one to look out for! So keep an eye out!
