At first glance this seems to be a typical “battle action school life” kind of anime. But after watching the first episode, I don’t know. It does have an abundance of anime cliches, but somehow I get the vibe that there is something more? The story is basically about Nomura, a student transferring to an all girls school that was re-established as a Co ed school (a cover up as the school actually acts as a rehabilitation center for delinquent boys). The school is ruled by the Supreme 5 Swords, 5 powerful girls armed with a real weapon. The other girls in the school have batons in case a boy tries to do anything funny. Nomura defies the rehabilitation and decides to live in freedom and quiet which of course doesn’t stay that way for long. It’s and interesting concept and I’m curious as to see how the story develops!
