An unexpected sequel to a great anime! Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul is the sequel to the popular Shingeki no Bahamut: Genesis. Virgin Soul takes place 10 years after Genesis and follows Nina, a young girl who moved to the city to find jobs for money to send back to her mother. In the city she is met with some rather disturbing images. Having lost to the humans, demons are now being used as slaves. Nina encounters Azazel, a demon that kills corrupt humans that use demon as slaves or guinea pigs, and slowly the story begins to unfold. Virgin Soul, so far, is on par if not better than its predecessor! The art and animation is fantastic! Great use of both 2D and 3D animation, although the 3D could be toned down just a little. Super excited to see where the story takes us! We’ve already caught glimpses of characters from Genesis and hopefully we’ll be able to see more!
