Re:Creators (First Impression)
WOW, JUST WOW. Re: Creators blew me away within minutes of its beginning. The great cinematography as well as the attention to detail in every scene. It emulates the business of Tokyo but also the serene beauty of the “anime world” (ANIMECEPTION). The plot is interesting, what is comes down to is: Souta, our protagonist, watches anime and there’s a particular show that he’s quite fond of. And somehow as he’s watching his favorite show, he’s transported into that world! But, and here’s the catch, he and Celestia, the heroine of the anime show, are brought back to the real world! But it isn’t your typical Slice of life, my 2D waifu became my 3D waifu cliche plot. The enemy comes along back to the real world, and we encounter even more characters who have been pulled from their anime world to the real world. It’s a somewhat confusing story, but the concept has potential! Not to mention Hiroyuki Sawano will be composing the OST and I am BEYOND EXCITED. As for the character designs, I’m not a huge fan of how they turned out. They seem too stiff and boring, but that’s just me being picky.
