Being a player of the Battle Girl High School mobile game, I’m super hyped to see all of the girls get animated, and fighting against the Irous! Although for newcomers, the anime may be a bit much. The story seems to start off much farther ahead in the game, rather than at the very beginning. I was kind of hoping to see them animated it from the beginning so that those of us that play the game but don’t have a full grasp on Japanese can fully understand what’s going with the translations. That entirety of the episode was also quite rushed. And with little to no introduction to the story, it’s clear that the anime adaptation is targeting mostly current players of the mobile game.
