Gamers! is about Amano Keita and the Video Game club. It starts off with a very tense scene: the clock ticking down, everyone speechless, slight blue tone over the screen. Then it jumps into the typical main character monolog, explaining his boring life. Then picks up again with a series of misunderstandings that lead from one thing to another. Amano is led by Tendou, the perfect idol of the school, and friends along with hilarious foreshadowing caption such as “Perfect Idol of the School – But loses it later because of him”. As the name implies, the anime will focus heavily on games, with lots of references for those who love games! Gamers! proves to be a funny quirky anime, I’ll be looking forward the next episode!
