Despite the childish character designs, Made in Abyss has a Studio Ghibli type of aethestic. With a lot of attention to minor details to each location, creating awe-inspiring settings that let your imagination run wild. The story follows Rico, an orphan who works as a cave raider, and her journey to explore the Abyss. Through a series of events meets Regu, a robot thought to have come from the Abyss. And who knows where the story will lead us from here on! Filled with lots of mysteries and many more interesting creatures and worlds, Made in Abyss is most definitely a dark horse this season, I’m very excited to see how the story develops!
