Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni is about Touya who was “accidentally” killed by God. And as a way to pay him back, God offers to resurrect in a new world and allow him to be able to use his smartphone. For me, this anime is 10x funnier than it should be because I’m often comparing it KonoSuba (which you can read the review for here).  In KonoSuba bad things happened to the main character constantly, whereas, in Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni, Touya sets off his first few days without a hitch all thanks to his smartphone. I do have a bit of a problem with the pace of the show, which will hopefully slow down in the later episodes. It is a generic type of show, so I’m not really expecting a lot from it, but who knows maybe it could develop a thoughtful plotline and reel me in.
