YES, IT’S HERE!!! Shokugeki makes a return after the Autumn Elections and now we near the Moon Festival where there’s confrontation between Soma and one of the Elite Ten Council Members! The first episode a little rushed, probably the studio trying to establish the setting as soon as possible so that they can start animated the juicy parts. Part of me agrees with it, part of me doesn’t. I think it would’ve been okay to split this introduction to two episode for the new season. Introducing the setting in a slower manner would help the audience, who watched the anime as it aired, to remember all the details in the previous season. Not to mention they skipped the meeting with the Elite Ten Council member, which was a key moment in the manga. Besides that, I’m really excited to see what the anime has in store. I even stopped reading the manga so that I wouldn’t ruin it for myself!
