Wake Up Girls aka WUG returns for another season! What interests me about WUG was the idea of starting an idol group from the ground up and the hardships that they would face. For anyone who hasn’t been keeping up with the movies and story of WUG, keep in mind that this season continues the story right AFTER the second movie, Wake Up, Girls! Seishun no Kage, so be sure to watch before you watch this or it’ll be a little confusing at the beginning (also spoilers…)! Although I like the idea of the show, it fails to leave an impression on me. I barely know any of the characters names and the constant changing members in I-1 doesn’t really help. We’ll see how this season goes, maybe it’ll start picking up since WUG is more popular now!
