Ah yes, the refreshing taste of a yuri anime! It’s been a while since I’ve watched a good yuri anime and Citrus looks like it’ll be one of my favorites!

Plot (In my own words):

Yuzu Aihara, a free-spirit high school girl who just moved to a new school because her mom just recently remarried to another man. Upon reaching the school she realizes that it’s a very strict all-girls school. Within walking on to school grounds she’s penalized by a beautiful girl named Mei, the student council president, for wearing articles of clothing that outside of the dress code. Yuzu’s dream of having a romantic high school life is crushed. Things get worse when she realizes that Mei is actually the daughter of her new step-father! Now step-sisters they have to put up with each other and their different lifestyles.

Recommendation:

Oh yes, if you’re a fan of yuri anime then I don’t think you’ll want to miss out on this one! The art is to die for, the background art to the character designs are eye-catching and colorful. The story has a lot of promise, right now it’s still focusing on the developing the settings and characters but it seems like it can get very dramatic and emotional at the later points in the story!
