Koi wa Ameagari no You ni (First Impression)
This entire show’s vibe can be understood through a few words, “Coffee shop in the rain”. If you can imagine the ambiance of that image then that’s what you’ll get with Koi wa Ameagari no You ni.
Plot (In my own words):
Akira Tachibana is a quiet high school student, who works at a family restaurant. She develops a crush on Masami Kondo, a 45-year old man with a son who also happens to be the manager of the restaurant she works at.
Recommendation:
The story is a little strange but it’s not something that you should write off so easily! If anything, at least try out the first episode and look at the amazing artwork! The lovely light pastel color palette is very easy and pleasing to the eyes. The soft background music makes the entire show that much better, besides the opening which is very lively preformed Chico and HoneyWorks! The ending theme continues the gentle ambient music with Ref: Rain by Aimer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
