First Impression:

My thoughts exactly as I saw the PV for Isekai Cheat Magician and to be honest I’m not the most excited for the show. Another Isekai about legendary heroes being summoned into a fantasy world. The art and animation are decent, nothing has really caught my eye just yet but let’s see where it takes us!

Now we’re getting somewhere, the art for the Obsidian Horse is sharp and edgy making it feel like a fearful foe. I hope that the art will continue the trend and show us some gruesome monsters! Now if only the character designs woul-

HOLD ON, CUTIE ALERT!!! While the first half of the episode is pretty straight forward, the other end starts to develop into something interesting with the duo heroes becoming apprentices!

Recommendation:

At this point, I say it’s a hit or miss with this show and I’m not confident that it’s good. I’ll continue the show (for science!!!) but wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. If you’re adventurous and love Isekai shows then, by all means, try it out!
