As Fanservicey (is that a word? well it is now) as Oshiete! Galko-chan might seem…It’s actually a really thoughtful anime. I’ve never seen an anime with as many body types as I have in Oshiete! Galko-chan. You have big girls, small girls, tall guys, scrawny guys and I think that’s really cool! It gives the characters that much more character and personality! Not only is the character diversity really great but also the dialogue that they have with each other. Sure they talk about silly ecchi things like “Is it true that really big boobs will float in the water?” BUT in that SAME episode Galko finds a lost boy, who was being made fun of because he went to the pool with his mom. Embarrassed by his mom he left her and got lost. Galko’s response? “You should never be ashamed of your own mother, got it?”. There are great moral values that come with the great fanservice which places this anime pretty high in my favorite anime of all time. Given that some parts of this is NFSW, I wouldn’t openly watch this in public but REGARDLESS it’s a great and I really encourage you to watch it! I came for the boobs and walked out with better morals, and I’m not ashamed.
