The beautiful (but unlucky) Momoko, the cool, collected Shibumi, and the refreshingly innocent Mayumi star in a “silent manga.” No speeches, no dialog! Just pictures, sound effects, and three high school girls living their daily lives.” -Crunchy Roll
First Impression:
Ah yes, the anime without voices…er or so I thought. I read the synopsis again after watching the show and it’s “dialogue”. The show contains voices for all of the character but there are no lines or conversation between them. So more along lines of Charlie Chaplin type of comedy. While I’m intrigued, this wasn’t as exciting or as funny as I hoped it would be. I, for one, am not a huge fan of the animation. As these are 3-minute episodes, you’d think it’d be quality over quantity, which isn’t necessarily the case.
Albeit, the punchline at the end was quite funny because you have to piece together the situation yourself. And as I do complain about the art the ending has some decent are and animation (I just wished it was in the body of the show and just the ending…).
Recommendation:
NO
Even if these are 3-minute episodes, I just don’t think it’s worth the time watching these. Interesting and somewhat entertaining yes, but nothing of any real significance.
