Welcome back to another post of new anime that I’ll be watching! With COVID-19 pandemic still lingering, it isn’t surprising that the number of anime shows that are airing would be much less than what we’ve seen in the previous season (from 41 full-length anime to about 18). With that being said there are still a lot of exciting shows that will be airing!

Short shows tend to shy away from a large amount of character development and meticulous soundtracks, but that isn’t the case here! Sounan Desu Ka packs quite a punch and delivers not only knowledgable information on surviving on a deserted island but also gut-busting comedy and interesting/dynamic characters!

The Isekai genre is loved by anime fans far and wide and while there are good apples in the basket, there are also bad ones. While Isekai Cheat Magician’s soundtrack and select characters are to be applauded for their articulation and finesse, that cannot be said about the rest of the show. Nothing can save poorly written characters.
