Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! 2 [Review]

It’s the second season of Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!
It’s here!! The next season of the funniest anime of all time! Kazuma and friends are back with more shenanigans for your laughing pleasure! Super excited that Konosuba made a return and continues to be one of the funniest anime I’ve seen in a long time (except for Gintama, because c’mon, it’s Gintama!).
————————————————————————-
Story:
This time around, the story progresses a lot more with new areas and more interesting characters! it’s starting to give that Fantasy RPG feel! This season packs in about three main arcs, one arc being about Darkness and her noble lineage, another about a hidden dungeon that Kazuma and Aqua explore, and a trip to a town of hot springs! Most of it is the usual funny stuff but the even so Kazuma does, somehow, get closer to defeating the Demon Lord!
Artwork & Animation:
Ok, it’s a tough one here because the Konosuba art style can be wacky and weird at times….But it’s the comedy and characters that make the anime great! So if the artwork looks amateurish, have faith and continue onward! If anything, they saved everything last episode! In the final episode, Aqua’s Goddess’ Requiem was one of the coolest moves in the show (when it actually works hehe…).
Character(s):
This season proves much more fruitful for character development than the previous, we get to see Darkness aka Lalatina and where she lived before becoming an adventurer. We also get more development from Megumin when we meet Yunyun, Megumin’s self-proclaimed rival! Both arcs proving that the characters have different sides of themselves that we didn’t know about! Makes for a much more hilarious moment when Kazuma pokes fun at both of them!
Sound (OST & Voice Acting):
OP by Machico is fantastic! If Konosuba comes back for round 3 I hope they bring Machico back as well! The voice acting cast never disappoints, the masochistic moans that Darkness lets out, the evil chunni laugh by Megumin, and the sobbing of a certain useless goddess all make the comical masterpiece that is Konosuba.
Enjoyment:
I love Konosuba, the ways the character each live in their own little world is one of the things that make this anime great! It’ll continue to have you laughing until you can’t breathe!
Overall: Score 10
Throughout the show, I was gonna give it a 9 because of the bland character artwork but when the final episode hit me with the beautiful animation I couldn’t help but give it a perfect score!
