First Impression:
I honestly have no idea what I’m getting myself into, as I’ve never played the game nor have I read anything prior to watching the first episode. I did watch the trailer, which is what made me interested in the first place.
Off to a good start! I really love the setting of the story, while I do question the physics of the…..thing in the middle, I’ll let it slide for now!
This show just keeps giving doesn’t it?
JUST KEEPS GIVING I TELL YA. SOMEONE ARREST HER BECAUSE IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO BE THIS CUTE.
Sell my soul? Say no more.
The character designs are my favorite things about this show, I assume that they reference actual playable characters in the game. I’m interested to learn more about them throughout the show.
You know, for a second there I thought I was watching Digimon. These monster do look cool though, it’ll be interesting to see the monsters from each of the different gates that the team visits and the different ways to defeat them.
Recommendation:
NO
This is a hard one because I’m actually on the edge of whether to recommend it or not. For most I’m going to say no, there’s not much going on here in the first episode and from the pace of the show it looks like it’ll involve the same gags, company doesn’t have money, they go accept a quest, they make money, they lose it again. Though I could be wrong! I would say, if it interests you, then give it the three day rule! I’m enjoying the characters so I’m hoping the story picks up a little more but I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
