Comic Girls, though may seem like a Moe trap, is actually an entertaining show that is very technical in the showcase of manga creation. With excellent attention to detail in both the artwork and the story, Comic girls dominates the spring season with it’s charming and funny characters.

Continuing to gain popularity Shokugeki no Soma presents the Promotion Arc. Although the art and animation are starting to deteriorate in quality and the story being cut short to fit with the tight schedule of 12 episodes. Season three is still entertaining and builds up for the fourth season which has already been announced!

Uma Musume is packed with both intense sports action as well as cute characters paired with a great soundtrack that implements both a neo-classical style with an idol style twist. And literal Dark Horse in the anime season and with a mobile game already out, there is more Uma Musume to be had!

Hinamatsuri is one of the best anime I’ve seen in a long time. You get the story fluidity of a slice-of-life anime but the overall vibe of a comedy anime. The artwork and animation are incredible and well deserved.

With a semi-structured backstory, Osake wa Fuufu ni Natte Kara, was both entertaining and educational with recipes for alcoholic drinks. A story about a diligent office worker who’s cute side is unleashed when she takes a sip of her favorite drinks made for an entertaining show.

For a four-minute anime, Alice or Alice still manages to create interesting characters despite the use of common character tropes. That by itself deserves praise, though the story could’ve had a stronger backbone, for the type and length of time that was presented, it’s not an awful execution.

Tokyo Ghoul:re gives a slightly twisted to the story that we all know and love. Through the eyes of Sasaki Haise we learn about ghouls through the eyes of a dove, a member of the CCG. With gruesome carnage and a variety of new characters, Tokyo Ghoul:re relights the flame that was seen in fans back with the first Tokyo Ghoul originally aired. And with the next Tokyo Ghoul:re season fast approaching in October of 2018, there is no better time to catch up!

Blend S breaks the mold of cliche character types and creates a hilarious combination of characters that are both great character design and an entertaining setting. Moe anime is great but Blend S stands to be one of the better ones and that’s saying a lot!
