While Mahou Shoujo Site is something we need more of, the execution could’ve been better. The great dark magical girl theme and the soundtrack is smothered by the lack of character development and a number of obviously recycled scenes.

One Room is an excellent anime, the way it constructs a story with just one character and a limited amount of background is incredible. Along with enjoyable characters and intriguing stories, One Room is anime storytelling at its finest.

While the unorthodox setting did leave a lasting impression, the thrill of it all is short lived as the gags get redundant and mundane by the third episode. Strange art change during certain scenes makes the show look sloppy and rushed.

Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san has both a solid and entertaining story as well as nice artwork and a somewhat reasonable amount of fanservice. A solid job on the art as well as the soundtrack give the story life and combining this with the great set of characters, it’s hard to not have an entertaining anime.
