Boku no Hero Academia the Movie: Futari no Hero, despite having some mistakes here and there on certain story elements and art, is a fantastic movie. An original story is tough to pull off as it is but to also tie it back to the source material and still make it engaging is a challenge and a risk. That risk paid off as Boku no Hero the Movie was a huge success and is wonderful to watch.

Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san is both what I expected and also what I didn’t expect, a wonderful comedic show with a very homey feel. With a wonderful color palette and character designs topped with a solid soundtrack, Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san is definitely one of the favorites of the season!

What makes this show so great is that it’s so darn relatable! Pair that with a fun 90s romantic comedy soundtrack, solid art and character designs, and finally characters are both simple yet multilayered and you have yourself an anime masterpiece! Based off of a Visual Novel, Island is a mystery Sci-fi that will have you asking “what did I just watch” by the last episode. Even with a good soundtrack and solid character designs, the compressed and somewhat rushed ending will leave you feeling unsatisfied and needing to play the original source material.
