Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu [10/10]

“When Subaru Natsuki leaves the convenience store, the last thing he expects is to be wrenched from his everyday life and dropped into a fantasy world. Things aren’t looking good for the bewildered teenager, however: not long after his arrival, he is attacked by some thugs. Fortunately, a mysterious beauty named Satella, in hot pursuit after the one who stole her insignia, happens upon Subaru and saves him. Subaru offers to help in her search, and later that night, he even finds the whereabouts of that which she seeks. But unbeknownst to them, a much darker force stalks the pair from the shadows.” -Myanimelist.net
Re: Zero took me by storm. The first episode absolutely blew me away, the drastic change in atmosphere was uncanny. The way the story carries itself is great, especially the way Subaru reacts to the situations that he’s forced into. He has a more realistic approach compared to most anime MC’s these days. He feel despair, hopelessness, and desperation which make him a very strong character. Yes he does break and lose himself and it takes him a really long time before he pulls everything back together. But the result is something better than you can imagine. I promise, you will hate Subaru and want to quit watching the anime because he’s really stupid. BUT I ENCOURAGE YOU STAY WITH HIM TO THE END. Yes he’s stupid, and yes he makes the wrong choices, and yes he garbage for ever raising his voice at Emilia-tan BUT, HE MAKES UP FOR IT. He pulls himself together and saves the day. As for the character designs and artwork, I love the character design, they’re unique to the series and EMILIA-TAN IS PERFECT. As for backgrounds and such, they’re pretty standard nothing too crazy being shown. I’m in love with the soundtrack especially the OPs and EDs, Myth & Roid make really killer music.
