An unexpected show with lots of surprises that you’ll never expect! Nakanohito Genome’s is like mystery box that’s, unknowingly, full of great characters and an interesting story! If you thought the trailer was boring or if the synopsis is a little too out there for you, I would highly recommend giving it the 3-episode rule! It’s an underrated show that feels new and refreshing in era of Shounen and RomCom anime!

I would be lying if I said the premise of the story didn’t interest me. There’s a type of aesthetic that comes with anime moms and to have that paired with a shounen adventure, well, it’ll keep you on your toes that’s for sure!

Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou is one of those shows that is REALLY GOOD but also REALLY BAD and if you’re willing to bypass the negatives…man does the positives shine! An anti-hero story with lots of memorable characters with a drop of realism to keep you on your toes! Just don’t look too closely at those CGI monsters!

Listeners is an ambitious original anime with a soundtrack composed by Jin. Unfortunately, it makes the same mistakes as Jin’s previous work Mekakucity Actors (animated by SHAFT) with its piecemeal story and lightly written characters. Though a strong soundtrack and decent world-building does make this show a worthwhile watch regardless.

Yesterday wo Utatte extremely well written from the characters ,their motives, their manner of speech, everything really flowed and connected with each other. The presentation of budding love in young adults is an awkward and sometimes hurtful path with no visible destination at the end. Yesterday wo Utatte focuses on those elements and creates a story that epitomizes the struggle of dating during your youth.
