• Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie [Review]

“Yuuta Okkotsu is haunted. Ever since his childhood friend Rika died in a traffic accident, her ghost has stuck with him. But her spirit does not appear as the sweet girl Yuuta once knew. Instead, she manifests as a monstrous and powerful entity who fiercely protects him. Unable to control Rika’s violent behavior, Yuuta is helpless to stop the bloodshed that follows from her brutal vengeance. As a result, when apprehended by “Jujutsu” sorcerers—the secret guardians of the world, trained to combat forces like Rika—Yuuta wishes to be completely isolated so that no one else can get hurt.” -MAL Rewrite

Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] [Review]

An unexpected show with lots of surprises that you’ll never expect! Nakanohito Genome’s is like mystery box that’s, unknowingly, full of great characters and an interesting story! If you thought the trailer was boring or if the synopsis is a little too out there for you, I would highly recommend giving it the 3-episode rule! It’s an underrated show that feels new and refreshing in era of Shounen and RomCom anime!

Though a strong soundtrack and decent world-building does make this show a worthwhile watch regardless.

The presentation of budding love in young adults is an awkward and sometimes hurtful path with no visible destination at the end. Yesterday wo Utatte focuses on those elements and creates a story that epitomizes the struggle of dating during your youth.
